Equipment
Lazer Spot maintains a cutting-edge equipment fleet with more than 300 spotting units and 600 plus shuttle and storage trailers. Customers are provided with new equipment and all units are replaced periodically to ensure customers have the safest and most reliable equipment available. All locations are provided with back-up units for use during routine maintenance on the primary units.
Capacity and Ottawa yard tractors are utilized at various locations. These units are equipped with hydraulic fifth wheels, king pin release, and air-ride suspensions. All units are road-geared for short run distances over public highways. Lazer Spot shuttle tractors are twin axle Freightliners, Sterlings and Internationals. These units are capable of hauling up to 53 foot trailers and containers for short shuttles. These units are often referred to as shunters, jockey trucks, buggies, and spotters throughout the industry.
Lazer Spot also provides a wide variety of shuttle and storage trailers on a weekly, monthly or annual basis. We take pride in providing solutions for our customers trailer special needs including paper-spec, roll-up doors, refrigerated units, chip trailers as well as standard 53 foot trailers.
As a Department of Transportation carrier, Lazer Spot equipment meets all state and federal safety regulations. In addition, Lazer Spot’s equipment serves as a prominent piece in our Green Initiatives.
