We are pleased to announce that Britt Ribar joins Lazer Spot today as Regional Manager for the Southeast B Region. Britt brings more than a decade of experience in supply chain management, port drayage and intermodal transportation, and information technology.
Britt spent the first eight years of her career with Schneider National, where she worked as a Logistics Specialist on the Dedicated Implementation Team for Target; a Logistics Manager on the Dedicated Implementation Team for Sysco; a National Account Manager for CHEP USA; and Southeast Intermodal/Drayage Fleet Manager in the Savannah area. While at Schneider, Britt planned and executed special projects for General Mills and Kimberly Clark, and consulted on various Lean Six Green Belt projects. She developed a training program for new fleet drivers, and was recognized as one of the top ten managers for national repositioning of equipment for CSX.
In 2014, Britt joined Patriot Transportation/Florida Rock and Tank Lines, where she served as Terminal Manager for northern Florida and Alabama, and later as Manager of Information Technology. As Terminal Manager, she implemented a peer-to-peer monitoring program that increased driver retention by 75%. When Patriot’s IT team recruited her to join that department, she worked collaboratively with Operations and other teams to improve technological efficiency.
Chief Operating Officer Phil Newsome said, “We are very fortunate to have someone of Britt’s caliber joining our team. She has a demonstrated record of getting results in the areas of safety, compliance, and customer service. She understands our business as a cross-functional whole, and I know she will drive improvement in Southeast B. I’m looking for great things out of the region under her leadership.”
